In order to rent a boat, two crew members must have sailing diplomas,but if that’s not possible, don’t worry. Experienced captains – skipper – can sail the boat for you. All you have to do is take your sun cream, a hat, sun glasses, swimsuit, flat shoes, something warmer to wear during the evenings and you’re ready to sail with your family or friends. The boat will be handed in to you after detailed examination, with its standard equipment clean, its tanks filled with fuel and water and with two cylinders filled with natural gas in its Kitchen. Your only obligation is to return it exactly as it was when it was given to you (in terms of fuel, etc). The skipper and the supplies, which you take with you are extras, you will be charged for separately.
Payment
The payment should be arranged as follow: 30% of the total cost is deposited, when the contract is signed, to the company’s bank account. The rest 70% is due (paid) in two separate installments, 40% two months before embarkation and the remaining 30% will be paid on embarkation.
Cancellation
When the booking is confirmed (via e-mail or fax) or the contract is signed, the charges below will occur: the deposit (30%) will not be returned but an exchange for the usage of another boat of the same cost will be accepted, if requested for the same period. In case of cancellation 5 weeks before departure, no refund will be given.
Arrival
If at your arrival at the airport, no other transport has been arranged, please jump on a cab to drive to the marina. One week before your arrival, you should inform us about your flight number and the exact time of your arrival at the airport as we need to be aware to await for you at the port. For your own convenience, we highly recommend you have pre-booked your own transfer from the airport to the port.
Check-in
Date agreed/departure time: 17:00. The captain and the co-captain will follow the check-in process along with the rest of the crew, based on the general equipment list, as followed on all boats. The rest of the crew members and your luggage should not be on the boat during that time. Following that, we will undertake all processes necessary until the departure.
NB: Check in is only available during daytime. In case of delayed arrival, check in will only occur the day after.
Check out
Date agreed/ Local arrival time: 09:00. The boat MUST return to the port the day before the date of arrival , unless another time has been set in agreement. In case of a possible delay, during the return of the boat, you need to contact with us urgently as all boats are usually booked on back – to – back trips.
You need to ensure that you are close to the port and that you can return at the agreed date and time taking into consideration the Weather conditions.
NB: Check out takes place only before sunset and as long as all luggage is on the pier.
